  • WHAT IS MANHATTAN PASSPORT?

MANHATTAN PASSPORT is a special event and destination management company founded in 1985 by former New York Times and Washington Post reporter Ina Lee Selden. MANHATTAN PASSPORT designs special events and customized itineraries in New York City, the Hudson Valley and Washington, D.C., for corporate incentive and special interest groups.

MANHATTAN PASSPORT is represented by Destinations Unlimited in the United Kingdom and Group Tourism Services in Belgium and The Netherlands.

  • WHAT MAKES MANHATTAN PASSPORT DIFFERENT?

MANHATTAN PASSPORT knows the difference between "pax" and guests.

MANHATTAN PASSPORT proposals closely mirror the final product because we ask the right questions and know how to listen. No proposal is "off the shelf."

We deliver what we promise and do not promise what cannot be delivered.

Within that range, our clients have had dinner prepared by the former chef to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis; toured The Big Apple in New York Police Department squad cars; painted graffiti on walls in SoHo; shared meals with the casts of Broadway shows; landed by helicopter on a World War II aircraft carrier; raced a marathon across the Brooklyn Bridge, and dined inside the base of the Statue of Liberty

As specializts in the international market, we design each itinerary to help guests deal with jet lag while here and return them in condition to produce the kind of work that won the trip in the first place. To that end, our typical stay includes a light first evening's meal, and venues for meals and meetings with as much natural light as possible. Many of our dinner venues are accessible on foot from the hotel, and we recommend as much walking as weather and stamina permit.
