New York Marathon and Treasure Hunt
Now you can own the Brooklyn Bridge. Well,
for 20 minutes, anyway,
time to run from Brooklyn towards that magical NYC Manhattan
skyline. Rain or shine, snow
or sleet racers sprint across the bridge to reach waiting
superstretch limousines, stocked
with juices and soft drinks, to prepare for another challenge, a
treasure hunt through
Manhattan neighborhoods. Guest gather at lunch for an awards
ceremony at a raucous
Chinatown restaurant.
| Goals: |
To
highlight the history of New York;
To acquaint competitors with New York's highly diversified
neighborhoods;
To link the sponsoring company product or business to
the city;
To build team spirit through time management and creative solutions
to silly problems |
Neighborhoods
From each of five neighborhoods, guests will be asked to
bring back unusual
souvenirs. Points will be awarded based on the creativity of the
souvenirs, with bonus
points for extra neighborhoods. A booby prize will to the team with
the worst score.
Limousine drivers will serve as private consultants to each
team.
